Spa Frequently Asked Questions

Hours of Operation
The Fitness studio in Keystone Lodge & Spa is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is open to hotel guests and spa members only. The Spa is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Complimentary Amenities
The Spa and Fitness work out room are complimentary to Keystone Lodge & Spa guests. Spa day guests receive complimentary valet parking. Upon entering Keystone Lodge & Spa the concierge will assist you with directions to the Spa.  

Reservations
Advance reservations are highly recommended. To book a treatment prior to arrival at the hotel, call 970-496-4000. To book during your hotel stay, call extension 4118. Reservations are subject to availability and must be secured with a credit card or hotel room number.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, a minimum of 24 hour notice is required in order to avoid being charged in full.  

What to Wear
We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing and leave jewelry or valuables in your room. A spa robe and sandals will be provided for your treatment. You may prefer to fully disrobe for your treatment, as our therapists are professionally trained in proper draping techniques. Please discuss other options with your therapist.

When to Arrive
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment (or 10 minutes prior for nail appointments). This will allow you enough time to enjoy a complimentary foot soak or relax in the spa relaxation lounge. Note: As a courtesy to our guests, all appointments end at their scheduled time regardless of start time. 

Special Requests
When making your reservations, please state any preferences you may have for male or female therapists. Depending on availability, we will do our best to accommodate your request. For your well being, please let your therapist know if you have any special physical or medical conditions.

Age Requirements
The spa is an adult enclave. Guests fifteen years of age and older may enjoy all of the spa's services and facilities.

For Your Comfort
This is your spa experience. We invite you to discuss your preferences and /or special needs with the spa staff so they can help select the service provider best suited to you. To ensure your comfort, we also encourage you to communicate with your service provider regarding room temperature, massage pressure and technique. We discourage shaving immediately prior to your treatment.

For Your Safety
Please be sure to inform your service provider if you are pregnant (especially if you are in the first trimester) or if you have high blood pressure, a heart aliment and / or any condition that may prohibit you from receiving heat, massage or skin care therapies. We highly discourage excessive alcohol consumption prior to, during or immediately following your spa treatment. We also recommend that you avoid sun exposure immediately following your skin care therapy.

Altitude
Keystone is located 9,300 feet above sea level. Please be aware that both the cardiovascular and respiratory systems work harder than usual at higher elevations. We recommend that you work out at a slower pace, drink plenty of water and limit time in the steam room, hot tub and heated pool.
